Day 303 of wisdom

“Success is a lousy teacher. It seduces smart people into thinking they can't lose.”

Bill Gates

Every ounce of success achieved is worth celebrating, one always deserve some accolades for every bit of it. Success is very loud, it can barely be secretly achieved and when the bells ring, the drums roll, and the celebrations are on, one tends to forget himself and how hard he has worked to achieve that feat, he begins to see himself as smart, intelligent, and someone who knows the way and will always have his way, but success is not just that.

The day one begins to forget or shun the process, or pathway to the successful achievement of a goal, or dream, from that moment he has started a movement in regression. Success in a particular endeavour does not guarantee success in every other endeavours of life, whatever you will achieve at any point in time you must work for it in one way or another, nothing comes for nothing, except something that is worth nothing. If you will be proud of whatever you want to achieve you must work for it and be able to replicate that success elsewhere.

Seeking help and soliciting support are some of the very germane attributes of a successful person, it does not mean you are weak or that you lack knowledge, it only show how human you are and that the struggle for a better life is not a piece of cake. Jared Padalecki once said, “If you’re out there and need help, please seek it. Be proud of your valiant day-to-day struggle. There is no shame in needing support.” There is no reason to be ashamed when you are working on your self, when you a building the future of your dreams, when your path seem to be that of humility, you must do whatever you have to do irrespective of who is looking or not.

Never take learning for granted, life is a school, everyone is a student of life, every opportunity to learn must be duly taken advantage of, and when it yields the required result, it is not time to relax, it is time to restart, to refire, and to do something bigger and better. Never underestimate your achievements, neither should you overrated them, always find a balance to everything and never give up until you win. In the words of Winston Churchill "Success is not final Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts."
