366 days of wisdom (October 24, 2020)

Day 298 of wisdom

“Out of difficulties grow miracles.”

Jean de la Bruyere

Miracles does not happen when what we expect a miracle from is something that is well within our control, when our ability supercedes the circumstance that we are faced with. Though all of life and everything in it is a miracle even in the very minute things, but some extraordinary miracles only occur when we are overwhelmed by our challenges, when we can no longer bear or carry the load that weigh us down, when all hopes seems to be lost, miracles spring up in the most unexpected fashion.

Miracles don't happen in specific ways neither do they happened the same way it happened to someone else so, if we expect a miracle in a particular way or manner, we may be disappointed. The difficulties that we face today is not here to crush us, it is here to reveal, or give an opportunity for miracles to happen. We must embrace difficulties, try all that is within our powers to overcome it, push until we can push no more, and when our strength can no longer carry us, when our options are exhausted, a miracle will spring forth.

It is the doer not the thinker, that receives a miracle. Thinking is not enough, you must do and doing is not enough, you must think, but it is the doer who does what he thinks and attempts to do but cannot that either receives strength to do or get assistance to do. We might have tried with no visible impact, we might have run and not covered much grounds, we might have worked but have little or nothing to show for it, we must not quit doing because the miracle is just by the corner.

When we seem to have been overpowered, when we seem to have been silenced, when it seems nothing can be done anymore, and giving up seems to be the next step, we must think of why we started, how far we have come, what we have lost, the things we gave up, and denied ourselves of, we must think of the destinies attached to the course for which we fight, and forge ahead in spite of the challenges, for just when we think it is over, the miracle will spring forth. Hold on, keep going, never quit, and you will win.
