Day 119 of wisdom
“Where hope grows, miracles blossom.”
Elna Rae
One of the best gifts God has given us is hope, without hope life would not be worth living. According to Google dictionary, hope is a feeling of expectation and desire for a particular thing to happen. It is the hope of a better future, the hope that things would change for the better, the hope that tomorrow will bring the life of our dreams that oftentimes keeps us going.
Without hope it is impossible to have faith, it is the hope for a thing that births the faith that such things can come to reality. Hope births faith, but faith is the force that activates the realization of what is being hoped for. Expectations may be so far from fruition that there seems not to be an appearance of what one seeks, but keeping hope alive gives one the courage to keep moving despite the bleakness of the future.
You must always nurture your hope with good thoughts, thoughts of a bright future, and everything good, because where there is hope, miracles are bound to happen, life finds a way to grant us our heart desires, that which is hoped for, but hope must surely be accomplished with works.
If we expect a miracle, if we expect that good will happen to us, if we expect to live a better life, we must keep hope alive, nurtured, and sustained for in this we can achieve our dreams.
Stephen King said, “Remember, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.”
