366 days of wisdom (April 14, 2020)

Day 105 of wisdom

“Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny.”

C. S. Lewis

Some of the most beautiful things in the world have gone through the most difficult situations in life, they have been through the toughest times, but found ways of hanging on. Coal (a form of carbon)  have to pass through intense heat to become Diamond; impure Gold have to be refined in fire to become pure, and fine. True beauty is revealed through difficulties, and hardship.

Hardships are sometimes a preparation for a better place, a better future, and a better self, it doesn't always come to destroy us, but to build, make us better, and reveal the best in us. When faced with difficult moments, we should see them as challenges, and not as problems. Problems mostly destroy, but challenges makes one better when one is determined to ride on it.

If everything was easy, there would be no motivation for success, one would not need to dream, there would be no reason to aspire, ordinary men would remain ordinary, and men would not explore their hidden potentials. Difficulties bring out the best in men, makes men to desire the feeling of champions, and creates in them the hunger and thirst for winning.

Hang on, things may be tough, the situation may be unbearable, you might not be getting the right answers, and you might have been despised, just remember that you have a big fan, one that will not quit on you, but will always cheer you on until victory is won, that one fan is: YOU. Do not disappoint yourself by giving up, but believe in yourself, and you will win.

Challenges are the horses determined men ride into greatness.
