366 days of wisdom (April 15, 2020)

Day 106 of wisdom

“If we were meant to stay in one place, we’d have roots instead of feet.”

Rachel Wolchin

Plants and trees are some of the most important elements to human existence, they are planted to grow, take roots deep into the ground to the extent with which it will sustain itself and remain firm in the ground, they produce fruits, seeds and leafs for human consumption and use, this is the whole essence and purpose of plants, and trees. This is not so with man.

Man is the most unique, most distinct and most valuable creation, created with multiple and unlimited potentials most of which are hidden and untapped until it is explored. Man is made for dominance, man is made to be more than he can ever imagine, man is made to fly. If man was supposed to be stagnant, unmovable, and unprogressive he would have had roots rather than legs, he would have been planted rather than been born, he would most likely have been a dummy without brains and the ability to be creative but adaptive, and reactive.

Though man is made for more, the road to greatness may not be clearly mapped out, but we must understand that, until we take the first step to move we would remain stagnant for as long as we remain indecisive. An American writer: Novelist, Poet, and Author, Nancy Willard once said, “I haven’t a clue how my story will end, but that’s all right. When you set out on a journey and night covers the road, that’s when you discover the stars.”

You are a reservoir of untapped potentials, with so much  to give the world, but if you don't dig deep and explore, if you don't determine to give the world the best that you have, you may never shine as the star that you are. So, explore, dig deep, spread your wings and fly.
