Day 109 of wisdom

“We have enough people who tell it like it is - now we could use a few who tell it like it can be. ”

Robert Orben

Realist tells us what things really are, how things really works, how they have always been, and how things will most likely be. People live their lives based on reality which is perfectly normal and sane, people look into the future with the binoculars of reality, almost everyone believes in reality, but we could better our realities with some optimism.

Reality stirs us in the face every waking day, but optimism begs us to take a stir at the possibility of a better reality. Optimism is the belief that the best is yet to come, that a favourable outcome is expected, and good will eventually triumph. We have dealt with a lot of reality, reality is everything that we have experienced, and are still experiencing, but we can turn the hand of things by being optimistic.

Optimism is not lazy, its expects the best by working towards achieving the best. In so many cases we have always known how some things will turn out, but optimism lets us have another perspective for a better outcome. If we always expect reality to take charge, we might not experience our best life. Optimism involves risk taking, it involves hard work, it involves belief in ourselves, and our abilities, and it involves faith in God.

The course of life has been altered by Optimists who saw beyond reality, to bring into reality things that realists never thought could be. Countless inventions have transformed the way we live, all because the inventors saw beyond reality, they were optimistic that if they could try, they could change some things, they could alter reality. It is for these optimists sake that we live better lives today.

Reality is life, optimism is the best life.
