Day 181 of wisdom
"Adopt the pace of nature: Her secret is patience."
Ralph Waldo Emerson
You must have heard the statement, "slow and steady wins the race" haste is never a propeller, but a retarder. Anyone who attempts to do something in haste always end up wasting more time in achieving that thing than if he has done it with patience, and consistency. Patience is the best instrument time employs in achieving its purpose.
The pace of nature is patience, so if you want to make progress in the pursuit of your dreams, visions, and heart desires, we must be in synchronization with nature, that is, we must go at the pace of nature, which is patience. Patience will achieve far more than force can ever achieve at any given time, and space. Leo Tolstoy said, “The two most powerful warriors are patience and time.” and time is the true test, and revealer of patience.
Whatever is gotten in haste, quickly evaporates, and fades away, but whatever one achieves with patience lasts longer. The great Indian activist Mahatma Gandhi once said, "To lose patience is to lose the battle.” if one must win any battle, if one must achieve whatever we hope to achieve, we must keep our patience, and not lose it, for losing patience is losing the battle.
In the words of Catherine Pulsifer "Learning patience can be a difficult experience, but once conquered, you will find life is easier." Man is naturally not born to be patient, patience is learnt, and the learning process could be very difficult, but when patience is mastered one benefits from it more. The chicken does not come to life by smashing the eggs, the chicken comes to life by hatching its egg, and that takes time. Time brings everything to life. Use patience, achieve more, live happily.
