Day 180 of wisdom
“If you wish to experience peace, provide peace for another.”
Tenzin Gyatso
In the words of Christ as recorded in Matthew 7:12, and Luke 6: 31 He said, "do unto others whatsoever you would that men do unto you" so, if we want to experience peace, we must provide peace to everyone around us. In life we get back what we give, and we can't give what we don't have, but whatsoever we give we don't lose we only plant, and it will return unto in multiple folds.
Whatever one cannot give, he does not really have. Anyone who wants to give peace must first have peace within himself, and after he has given out peace to those of his neighborhood, he would experience peace all around him. The world does experienced so much trouble, so much war, so much atrocities, so much injustice. We must rise, not against war, but for peace, for if we have peace war will not have a place in our world. We don't need to fight against war, we only need to advocate peace.
We are the light of the world, we must shine bright that those in darkness may see the light; we are the salt of the world, we must keep, protect, and maintain our sweetness leat we be good for nothing. We must live a life that makes others live peaceful lives; we must not be driven by our desires to be whatever we want to be at the expense of another man's life, comfort, or peace of mind; we must be problem solvers, and not problem initiators; we must be 'thank-God' people, and not 'oh-God' people.
John F. Kennedy once said, “Peace is a daily, a weekly, a monthly process, gradually changing opinions, slowly eroding old barriers, quietly building new structures.” we don't achieve a peaceful world in one day, the world become a peaceful place as a result of our daily effort to make it a peaceful place. We should therefore make ourselves instruments of peace, and as much as it lies within us, we should live in peace with all men.
