366 days of wisdom (June 12, 2020)

Day 164 of wisdom

“We need to be reminded more than we need to be instructed.”

G. K. Chesterton

Priority must be given to the things that deserve prioritized attention. The early stages of a man's life is an instruction receiving stage, one must be duly instructed, informed, and taught the necessities of life, and living before he can be  reminded, and one can only remember that which he was taught, but can learn through experience, and take some critical actions by intuition.

Oftentimes, men forget lessons life has taught them, they forget experiences, they forget instructions, and therefore needs more often to be reminded of those things they already knew than being instructed. We need to be reminded of the reasons we came here, we need to be reminded that we have a purpose, and that we must live our lives according to our own dreams, visions, and goals rather than on the opinion of people, and their approval.

We need to be reminded that we were endowed with great talents, abilities, intelligence, and power, we need to be reminded that we were given intuition as God's permanently ingrained voice in our minds telling us what to do at times when things become very difficult, and events happen that are beyond what we would ordinarily think of, or are aware of. If we develop our intuition, and listen to it more often we would be amazed at how much disaster we would escape.

We also need to be reminded that without the right people in our lives we cannot achieve what we were made to achieve in life, and ultimately we must be reminded that without the ultimate Being, the Almighty, the most high, without the creator, the God of heaven we cannot do anything worthwhile with our lives, we would just be ordinary beings passing through life, and leaving no trace, no legacy, and no impact on the world. You already know much, you already have much, you need only to be reminded, and you will appreciate life more.
