366 days of wisdom (May 30, 2020)

Day 151 of wisdom

“The world is not to be put in order. The world is in order. It is for us to put ourselves in unison with this order.”

Henry Miller

The world is in perfect shape, and order, it is a complete, and independent entity. We are in greater need of the universe than the universe needs us, without us the universe will continue to be itself, organised, and in order, but we must align ourselves with the orderliness of the universe so we can be what we are meant to be.

We have a definite, and clear purpose on earth, we must discover our purpose to find our place in the universe. Our presence, and existence in the world is for a universal, and greater good. When we discover purpose, and we make efforts to achieve that purpose, the universe finds a way to make everything fall into place for us, the universe finds a way to make our efforts productive, and yielding.

Katherine Anne Porter asserted that "there seems to be a kind of order in the universe… in the movement of the stars and the turning of the Earth and the changing of the seasons. But human life is almost pure chaos. Everyone takes his stance, asserts his own right and feelings, mistaking the motives of others, and his own."

If we must become our best, if we must fulfill purpose, we must be at peace with our self, and the universe. We owe ourselves the responsibility of of making our lives great. We are endowed with great capabilities, and the privilege of choosing freely the type of life we want for ourselves. We must therefore, choose, strive, and endeavour to attain the highest possible heights we should, and can attain.
