Day 145 of wisdom

"Worrying is like paying a debt you don't owe."

Mark Twain.

Worrying is the most unproductive journey, or task of the mind anyone can embark on, or get involved in. Google dictionary defined worrying as an act of "causing anxiety about actual or potential problems." Either actual, or potential, worrying changes nothing, it does not affect the outcome of whatever has been, or will be. If you want to get a different, and positive result from an ugly situation, turn your attention from worrying into taking intentional, and purpose driven actions.

Roy T. Bennett wrote in one of his books, he said, "instead of worrying about what you cannot control, shift your energy to what you can create." You would benefit more from shifting your energy to what you can control, create, and achieve with your strength, and determined effort rather than worry about what you can't control. Life, many at times gives you unexpected, and uncontrollable circumstances, but it is in your powers to control how you react to what life gives you, that is the most important thing.

Someone once said, "Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its strength." Have you seen someone who through worrying achieved anything at all in life? Have you seen anyone who in a worry state had any dose of happiness? Worry does not give room to productivity, and happiness, just as Roy Bennett said "If you want to be happy, do not dwell in the past, do not worry about the future, focus on living fully in the present."

Don't sink yourself into paying a debt you do not owe, don't waste your time, and life worrying, or thinking about someone who is not thinking about you, live in the present, live in the moment; Pray, play, plan, dream, have goals, and visions that will push you forward in life. Just sit, relax, and think your way forward. Think more about what you have, your potentials, your talents, ability, your bravery, and confidence, then channel it into achieving your vision. Maximize your power.
