366 days of wisdom (May 18, 2020)

Day 139 of wisdom

“Angry people are not always wise.”

Jane Austen

A Chinese Proverb says, "If you are patient in one moment of anger, you will escape a hundred days of sorrow." Patience is a virtue of wise men, that can save one days of anguish and sorrow, and anyone who allows anger to control him is not wise and will be destroyed. It is wisdom to control your mind when it is brewing anger, rather than being controlled by anger.

Anani Sunday once said, "anger misuses a man briefly, and leaves him to regret the consequences of his misguided actions", if one allows himself to be used by anger, he has not behaved wisely, and has also deprived himself of the opportunity to be happy. A minute of anger, is sixty seconds of negative living.

Anger does not allow the light of the mind to shine, it darkens the mind, and shuts down the growth of ideas, and positive thoughts, it does not give one the opportunity to do what is right, and expected of him. "When we are caught up in a destructive emotion, we lose one of our greatest assets: our independence." If you want to be free and happy never allow anger a space in your heart.

Anger does not harm the one to which it is directed as much as it would the one from whom it originates. If you would live in peace, and freedom of mind, and heart, anger must not be your companion, this way you will be happy, and live a good life.
