366 days of wisdom (May 21, 2020)

Day 142 of wisdom

“You are not fully dressed until you wear a smile.”

Evan Esar

Marilyn Monroe once said, "a smile is the best makeup any girl can wear", and I say, "If smile is a makeup, then everybody should wear it." A smile covers your vulnerability, and emotional nakedness, it gives you the courage, and moral to forge ahead, deepens you heart of love, and care for others, and gives you a more beautiful face. Smiling heals us of our hurts, and gives those we smile at the courage to move on.

The little, and intangible things of life are some of the most powerful, and most important things we could ever have, or give. Sherrilyn Kenyon was of the opinion that "one word can give someone the strength they needed at that moment or it can shred them down to nothing. A single smile can turn a bad moment good."

Joel Osteen once said "when you smile and project an aura of warmth, kindness, and friendliness, you will attract warms, kindness, and friendliness. Happy people will be drawn to you." When happy people are drawn to you, you become happy, when everyone is happy, happiness will multiply and will be spread far and wide.

It cost you nothing to smile, smile no matter what. Whatever is capable of taking away your smile, is not to be given too much attention, whatever you focus on magnifies, so take away your focus from what takes away your smile, focus on what gives you joy, and makes you smile. Smile more, love more, and live more.
