366 days of wisdom (May 07, 2020)

Day 128 of wisdom

“The greatest weariness comes from work not done.”

Eric Hoffer

One derives great pleasure in completed tasks, we are so much joyous when we begin a project and successful achieve its completion. Flipping the coin, the greatest weariness we often have are from things we left undone, and unattended to. We become so pained when we realize what we have missed, or missing when we should have done something, but didn't.

In life, the best way to avoid nail biting regrets, is by attending to, and seeing to the accomplishment of projects, tasks, and programs. Sometimes, our neglects of things we should have done but left undone always hunt us, and sometimes does so much harm to our courage, and confidence that we may begin to think we can not achieve, or do what we should be doing.

We are here to cause a difference, to create change, to make life better for the people around us, and those coming behind us, to leave the world a better place than we met it. We must therefore not fold our arms and allow time to pass without doing what we are meant to do. Our abilities, strengths, and intellects should not be allowed to waste, we must let them perform at their optimum best.

If we must live a happy, fulfilled, and worry free life, we must begin to put our ideas into valuable and profitable actions, we must begin to do more than we have ever done, we must never relent on doing good. Life is not always about what you receive, or get; life is about what you give, and do for others. An happy life, is a life that makes others happy.
