Day 144 of wisdom
“If you can accept losing you can’t win. If you can walk you can run. No one is ever hurt. Hurt is in your mind.”
Vince Lombardi
Winning is a an habit of winners, it is achieved by consistently rising even when one falls, but accepting failure means staying on the ground when a fall happens. Everyone fails, today's winners were once failures who never gave up to their failures. Anyone can win, but one who will win must not accept failure as final, he must not stay defeated no matter the circumstances.
If you have failed in anything, it depicts forwards movement in that endeavour. Failure does not come to one who does nothing, so does success. One who is on the ground does not fear falling, because you can only fall to the ground, and that is where he is already. Anyone that will win must see failure as a stepping stone to success, not a stumbling block.
Vince Lombardi also said that, "winning is an habit, unfortunately so is losing" if you must continue to win, you must not accept failure at any point in time, you must move from failure to winning, and make winning an habit. Those who quit does not quit because it is impossible, they quit because they don't believe they can win, they quit because they believe winning is for a select few.
If you can fail you can win. The difference between failing and winning is not quitting, not accepting defeat, falling and rising again. Les Brown once said, "shoot for the moon, even if you miss, you will land among the stars." Winning requires that one aims very high, if you don't achieve what you aim for you will achieve something close to it.
Make winning an habit, and failure will not be an option anymore.
