Day 124 of wisdom
“The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time.”
Abraham Lincoln
Life is in stages, the future opens in pages, as we grow in ages, we receive our wages, the work done in your early ages, determines the size of your wages. Our future life is always determined by how we live our present life. The future is not a cluster of times that comes suddenly on us, but a uniquely revealing time that starts the moment after the present. Every passing day was a future of the day gone by.
If we hope to have a good future, we must start to work now on the future of our dreams, we must have a picture, and a preview of our desired destination, and draw out workable plans on how to reach that future. Today's actions determines our future, we can alter our future by altering our actions. If we are not satisfied by our today we can make our tomorrow better by becoming better than we were yesterday.
Life should not be lived in haste, we ought to live our lives, one day at a time. The future rushes no one, we should therefore not allow ourselves to be ruled by a panicky nor anxious heart, for confusion, and misjudgment comes with panic, and anxiety. The best future is the one that is lived with utmost care, calmness, patience, and adequate plan.
Though the future may be blurry, uncertain, and doubtful, it is not in our powers to determine if we get to the future or not, but what is in our powers is how the future will be if we do get there. We can write our future by what we do with our now. One does not get to another destination if he does not depart his current location. Start the journey, draw a plan, and move on with courage, soon you will be at your destination.
