Day 240 of wisdom

“The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the realist adjusts the sails.”

William Arthur Ward

A pessimist is one who tends to see only the worst aspect of things, or believe that the worst will happen to him, or the people around him. He is constantly negative, always expecting, and hoping for the worst, never see any good in any situation, a very good complainer, and believes the world is entirely evil. A pessimist approaches everything the hard way, suspicious of everything, and everybody, always full of anxiety, slow to action for excessive caution, and hardly trust anyone.

An optimist is an hopeful, and confident personality, he has a positive outlook to life, a bright expectation for the future, and the success of everything he does. He always look beyond the events of the present, and hope to get to a better future, he believe things will eventually change in his favour, and life will become easier. Optimists motivate themselves to keep moving in spite of harsh, and hard situations, they are always grateful for what they have, and find reasons to be happy even when they don't have to.

Realists are people who understand the dynamics of events, and happenings, they accept the reality of the situation at hand, are ready, and prepared to deal with it accordingly. They know that they can get whatever they want if they can act, and work towards it. They believe that a man is affected by his reality to the degree to which he allows it, and therefore adjust there realities to suit their plans, and purposes. Realists are good planners, and may sometimes be perceived as pessimists due to their deep understanding of life's realities.

Realists are the most pragmatic people, they don't let their expectations be determined by chance, rather they take the bull by the horn, and act on situations to alter outcomes in their favour. They are a combination of pessimist, and optimist, because they believe if they don't act on a situation, if they allow life to determine its outcome, the resultant effect may not be in their favour. The same situation a pessimist expects to destroy him, and an optimist expects to change in his favour, the realist uses to his advantage. The way different people sees different things determines what they get out of that thing. Change your view, change your thoughts, and your life will change.
