Day 219 of wisdom
“The more you look, the more you see.”
Robert M. Pirsig
Whatever one does not look for even if it is right in front of him he wouldn't see, a man only sees what he wants to see, and what he is looking for, and the more he looks the more he sees. Achieving anything in life requires that one makes, determined, and deliberate efforts towards ensuring that one achieves his desired dream.
In the search for solution to problems, the quality of the answer, or solution one gets is determined by the quality of the questions asked. Weak, and superficial questions bring about weak, and superficial answers, or solution. The deeper you dig the hotter it becomes, the more intense the stratosphere becomes, so the intensity one brings to solving a problem will make that problem either look very ordinary, or extremely difficult.
J. L. Huie admonished when he said “Look closely... See with new eyes... Don't just pass by what is familiar without a thought. Pay attention and look closely. There is beauty - there is discovery - there in a whole new world hiding beneath the face of the familiar. Your close attention will be richly repaid.” Familiarity with a thing, person, or people can deprive us of the good that may be resident in them, so, we must really pay closer attention to those things we have always seen as familiar.
Some things may look hard on the surface, meanwhile, it could just be a shell on the surface which when removed will be a soft body of flesh; a person may be physically unattractive, but they may be very beautiful in character, attitude, and disposition.
Every day of our lives is a miracle, but we wouldn't see the miracle in each new day until we start looking at everyday with a new eyes. Paulo Coelho said, “You can become blind by seeing each day as a similar one. Each day is a different one, each day brings a miracle of its own. It's just a matter of paying attention to this miracle.” Don't become blind to dynamics, look deeper, and you will see deeper.
