VISUALISE YOUR DESTINATION

Sometimes, you don't close your eyes to what is seen, but to see what is yet unseen, to see the things that does not yet exist. Dreams come true, but you have to be awake to make it possible. The future is not seen with the physical eyes, but with the eyes of the mind, and if you cannot see today where you want to be tomorrow, you cannot reach tomorrow where you want to reach tomorrow. Sometimes, you have to forget about action and just visualise your desired destination.

Visualisation is not an idle process, it is an intentional process of creating a mental picture of your desire, and that process is only walked through by intentional people, people who understand the power of planning, of visualisation, and of dreaming. No one ever becomes successful only by expectations, but by putting tangible thoughts into reasonable actions. It is not enough to want something, you must be ready to pursue with purpose whatever you visualise.

Your destination will determine the path you are to tread. The journey might feel burdensome, you might feel like you are going through unnecessary, and unrelating hurdles; you might feel like you are hacking through a tangled and dense forest, and there is no way out for you, but in the end, you will discover that the journey was a necessary one for the destination you had desired, because your destination is not the end of the journey.

Carry that picture of your destination with you like a locket close to your heart. Take it out in quiet moments, polish it, observe it, see what is missing, add some more details, and let it be the fuel for your grind, and the comfort in your struggle. The path will reveal itself one step at a time, only if you never lose sight of where you are headed. See it even before it is; believe it like you believe yourself; feel it like it is touchable.

To a better you, Kamikun John.
