TAKE RISKS WHILE YOU CAN

The moments that carve the story of a person's life are their first steps into the world of the unknown, the leaps that never guarantee safe landing, the decision that was made because they dared to fail. Right now, you hold a currency more valuable than gold; however, it is fast depleting, and quietly deprecating, and it is neither money nor any material possession, it is your youthfulness, your strength, your energy. These are the edge you have over some, and if you fail to use it, you will lose it and some others will use it against you; now is your chance.

Your youth is a time to dream big, your strength can sponsor your audacity, and your energy can carry your will. It is the time when you can afford to fail, and start all over again, it is the period when learning can be prioritised over anything else. Nothing worthwhile in life is gotten on a platter of gold. Comfort is the price that must be paid, and the potential reward is a life without boundaries, an unlimited life.

Procrastination will offer temporary safety, but it quietly steals your vitality, your strength, your best version, and quickly replaces it with weakness, illusion, and regret. Do not give in to the temptation of safety, do not let the wind of life toss you around like a leaf detached from its stem; carve your own path, follow your heart, go after your dreams, dare to fail, for that is the path through which you can meet success.

You might fail, you will likely stumble, there will be moments of doubt, but when you stumble, you will understand the weight of your own strength; the failed attempts will become landmarks, and the scars a chapter in the journey. Take the risk while you can; while your knees can still carry you up the hill; while your heart is still resilient enough to mend if it breaks; while it is still today, for you might not have the opportunity of a tomorrow.

To a better you, Kamikun John.
