DESTINY ALWAYS WAITS
Destiny goes nowhere, it always waits, it is not like a train scheduled to arrive and depart a platform at a certain time; it is patient, inevitable, indifferent to your haste or your hesitation. However, destiny cannot be forced, and does not force, it will always be there waiting for you to tap into its availability and abundance, to activate the fullness that exists in it.
Sometimes, we make frantic choices, fearing that we will miss the turn and destiny will pass us by; we see destiny as something fleeting, as a butterfly that will vanish if our nets are not swift enough, or break, but that is not the case. Destiny will always be there waiting for you to come. It is never in the chase, it is the ground upon which you run.
The person you are meant to become, the love you are meant to find, the work you are meant to do, these are not items on a shelf, decaying if you arrive too late. They are compositions, and your life is the movement that reveals their fulfillment. Destiny waits for the necessities, it waits for you to live through the required sorrow that will make future joy resonate. It waits for you to acquire the precise scar that will later allow you to understand a stranger's pain. It waits for the convergence of a thousand seemingly random moments that will suddenly align into a perfect, undeniable path.
Destiny waits for the exact moment when you stop searching the horizon for its arrival, and begin to look inward, and take actions that will get you there. It waits, not with the indifference of a stone, but with the infinite patience of a star whose light has already reached you, even if you have only just looked up to see it. Your becoming is not a question of if, but when, and destiny, knowing this better than you ever could, simply waits. It is waiting on you, move closer to it.
