Don't bury your dreams

VISION NEVER EXPIRES

There is no date stamp, no invisible timer that ticks down to a moment when your dreams must be thrown out, because it got sour or became useless. There may be delays, there may be disturbances, and bareers to the fulfilment of dreams, but the truth is, vision never expires. Sometimes, daily challenges, responsibilities, and obligations can bury those dreams, but it is never forgotten.

A can of milk can be on a shelf only for a moment before it becomes useless, but your dream, your vision can remain in inertia for as long as you are ready to work on it. Your dream will not fulfill itself, neither will your vision. You must put in the work and the actions required for them to come to life. However, while in the dark room, your dreams are capable of evolving from what it is, or what it used to be, to what it should or can be.

Harry Bernstein published his first acclaimed memoir "The invisible wall" at 96; Anna Mary Robertson, popularly known as Grandma Moses, began painting in at the age of 78 and gained prominence through it; Nola Ochs became the world's oldest college graduate at 95; Yuichiro Miura, climbed Mount Everest at 80 (something he had previously done at 70 and 75); and William Shatner, became the oldest person in space at 90, flying with Blue Origin. All these are testament to the fact that dreams never dies, and vision never expires. Even in old age, when some are retiring, they dugged out there buried dreams and fought for it.

It is not the vision that fades, it is our courage to see it that sometimes exhausts; it is the faith in our own capacity that wears thin; it is the noise of the world that drowns our persistence. Vision never expires, but time ticks away. However, you must not let the passing of time trick you into thinking that the dream is gone; instead let it remind you of the urgency, the importance, and the necessity of achieving those dreams.

To a better you, Kamikun John.
