Don't stay down
RAISE YOURSELF UP
The gap between where you stand and where you long to be can feel like a valley. That valley is not a place where you are meant to get lost, or get buried, it is your workshop, it is the place where you build yourself to become a better version of yourself and take yourself up the hill out of the valley. The desire and drive to bring yourself out of the valley is not a demand from the outside world, it is a call from the deepest part of you, it is a whisper of your own potential, it is the unyielding spirit within you that refuses to give up.
You don't have to wait for a ladder to appear so you can climb out, you don't have to wait for a hand to pull you up, or for someone to grant you the permission to rise up, you have to know that your place is not in the valley, and you have to rise up, climb up, and go up. The valley may be dark, but the soil down is fertile than anywhere else, and that is the best place to plant the tree of your resolve and resilience to grow out.
You cannot build on faulty foundations, your mind is the ground from which you build your life, you must be prepared, solid, and ready for everything that will be thrown at you by life. You must take intentional and reasonable actions that are capable of bringing you out, you must deal with doubts and fear, and let your courage guide you through.
Storms will come to sweep you away, the wind of failure will shake you, the rain of disappointment will beat you hard; but you must stand strong, you must remain immovable, and you must not leak. However, if you do fail or fall, it is not the end of the journey, you build right back up. The person you are becoming is forged in these moments. When you feel like stopping, take one more step, remain resilient, and keep building, the top is waiting to receive you.
To a better you, Kamikun John.
