LIVE WHILE YOU STILL HAVE LIFE
Life is a fleeting moment in time, no matter how long you spend taking in and exhaling breath, it is but an insignificant fraction of time. What matters most in life is not how long you live, but how well you spend your time, the quality of the life you live, and the memories you create while you still can breathe. Life is not a dress rehearsal; there are no second takes, no rewinds, no do-overs. The clock ticks forward; time has no sympathy for your plans, your fears, or your hesitations.
Many people live as though they are iimmortals, they live like they are guaranteed a space in tomorrow, postponing the pursuit of their dreams, saving their happiness for later, waiting for the perfect moment to create memories; unfortunately, those moments may never come. Time is the one currency you can't earn back once spent recklessly. The laughter you stifle and refuse to let out today, the love you fail to express, the adventures you keep shelving for someday, those are the true losses, the silent thieves that steal away living from life, and leave you only with existence.
Live now, try something new, fail at it, and try again; experience the world you never knew; create memories that will last you a lifetime; go on trips and tours; write your story, a book, your experiences; make an impact in the lives of those around. Do not wait till the conditions are perfect, when you are richer, stronger, older, less afraid, or when the stars align, but while they still burn above you.
William M. Lewis once said, "The tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon, but that we wait so long to begin it." Some lives never even began before it ended. The sooner you begin to live your life, the better for you. Live today, wait no longer for another day, it may never come. Do not be like the one who came and left without a trace, live for impact, leave a legacy, live while you still can.
To a better you, Kamikun John.
