DON'T SELL YOUR HERITAGE FOR PEANUTS.
You might have heard the story of the farmer who had a farmland, and had for many year tilled the land, cultivated and harvested many plants and crops on that land, but he rose up one day and thought he could no longer continue farming on that land and wanted to go in search of diamonds. He decided to sell the land to another farmer and went in search of diamonds, in a distant land. Few days after he had left, and the new farmer had taken over the land, he was tilling the land when all of a sudden he struck some strange stones, he had found diamonds.
Old former owner of this land never found diamond anywhere, unfortunately he has sold the acres of diamond he had unknowingly. Sometimes, many of us do not know what we have until we lose them. A lot of times, we dispise our own gifts, talents, and skill; we do not regard them as anything useful or worthy of working upon. At times, we have to be told by others who see beyond what we see, the real value of the gifts that we posses, they open our eyes to what we can achieve and become with what we have.
Robbie Robertson once said, "You don't stumble upon your heritage. It is there, just waiting to be explored and shared." You have so much hidden within you, you are a reservoir of unlimited greatness, waiting only to be explored. There is so much within you, there is so much you can achieve, there is so much you can become, you just have to look deep, and inward to see the things that are hidden within that the world is craving to have a share of. There are contributions that only you can make to the world, and the world eagerly awaits it.
Be proud of who you are, carry yourself with respect, dignity, and honour, you are not a piece of rag of no value, you are an epitome of everything good and glorious. Your heritage is greatness, and success. It is not to be given to you, it is what you have, but you must work hard to reveal it to the world. Your dreams and aspirations are worth a fortune, never sell it or trade it for anything less than its worth. You may not be great today, but it is normal to start lowly, and grow to glory. You are more than enough.
