Give and receive.

THE POOR RICH MAN.

Poverty is no man's desire, it is by no means what anyone would wish for, or be proud of, but unfortunately poverty will always abound; of material things and of the mind. There will always be poor people around. Poverty is not only the lack of money, or materials resources, but also of character, humanness, and value. You can have huge sums of funds, you can accumulate so much to yourself materially, but lack everything else you need to be a real human.

Someone once said, "some people are so poor, the only thing they have is money." Some believe that having money will bring them all the happiness they want in life, they struggle so hard, sometimes illegally, and through crooked ways to acquire wealth, and upon having so much, they realise how vain life could be even with lots of money.

True wealth is in what is given out, not what is received, or accumulated. We get so much when we give out. We should learn from farmers, who plant seeds, and reap trees. If we must be truly get rich, we must be people living lives of impact, we must be ready to always render a helping hand to those who need it, whenever they need it.

Everything that we have, we do not have for our selves alone. As much as we must be wise in our dealings with people, we must understand that the life lived for one's self is a wasted life, but the life lived for others is a well lived life. "There is a magnet in your heart that will attract true friends. That magnet is unselfishness, thinking of others first; when you learn to live for others, they will live for you." ~ Paramahansa Yogananda.
