PERCEPTION IS WHAT WE SEE.
Nothing in life is in a particular way, everything that you see appears to you in the way that you want to see it. When you look at something you have seen before differently, you will see a different thing. We are the determinant of how things will be seen by us. If we ask people who have the same thing to describe what they saw, we would be surprised at the variance of their answers.
Most of the things we see are the mental pictures of what we already have created in our minds, We may sometimes see something different when we take a second and more careful look. We cannot see beyond what we have trained ourselves to see, and when we do see what we have not been trained to see, we find it difficult to comprehend.
It is sometimes important to understand the effect of perspectives. If we perceive something wrongly, we will make wrong decisions, and pass faulty conclusions, but having the understanding that our standpoint will always determine our viewpoint will help us adjust ourselves, and thought accordingly.
When you look for something, you will see it, but be careful to look for what is right. Do not seek to judge someone without first standing in their place, do not reach conclusion on a matter without looking at the various angles to it. It was Marcus Aurelius who said, "Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth." Always seek the right perspective in every situation.
