You reap what you sow.

DON'T LIKE THE PLANT? CHANGE THE SEED.

A man's current situation and circumstances are a reflection of the seeds that he has planted in the past. You will never reap a fruit that is different from that produced by the seed you plant. Life pays you in the same coin that you spend, and it comes in even larger measures. If you do not like the fruit you have today, change the seed you are planting today. If we want to see different outcomes from what we are currently seeing in the future, we must plant different seeds in the present.

Sometimes, we may find ourselves stuck in a pattern of behavior that we wish to change, but may feel helpless to do so. However, by recognizing that our current situation is a result of the seeds that we have planted in the past, our past actions, we can begin to take responsibility for our choices and actions and make the necessary changes to see different outcomes in the future.

We must begin to take intentional action to plant new thoughts, attitudes, and behaviors that align with our desired outcomes, and be willing to let go of old patterns of thinking and acting that no longer serve us and embracing new perspectives and behaviors that move us towards our goals. We cannot continue to act negatively, and expect to get positive results; we can not be lazy and nonchalant about our dreams, goals, and aspirations, and expect productive outcomes, we must alter the patterns.

In situations where we may be dissatisfied with the behavior of others, rather than trying to change the other person, we can focus on changing our own behavior and reactions to the situation. By changing the seed of our thoughts and actions, we can create a shift in the dynamics of our relationship with them, and potentially see changes in the other person's behavior as well. Plant the seed you want to reap.
