SENTINEL

The eyes of all visible organs of the body occupies the highest part in the body, this is no coincidence; a man who watches over an expanse does not stay at the base of the wall, but on towers. No one sits at the base of a thing attempting to watch over it, except it be a little piece. Being a Sentinel means, being a watch over a thing or things; somebody or people; it means preserving something in our care.

Sentinels must either be up or grow up, one who would watch over others must have the power to do so, he must have what those who he is to watch over does not have, and must be able to duly and appropriately direct those whom he watches. Many Sentinels have not seen themselves as such, they are above, doing well, and thriving, but do not see the need to protect, watch, guide, and mentor others be who they can and should be.

Only the strong can strengthen the weak, the high can lift the low, and the sharp sharpen the dull; Sentinels should enlighten the path for those who are behind them, and show them how to thread the path to a place of safety and desire. Sentinels do not ignore, nor look down on any one, but raise them up, and encourage them to be the best they can be.

It may not be an obligation to to take up the responsibility of raising up others, and guiding them through their processes, but it is a good thing to do, if not the best thing to do. We should be a shoulder to lean on when someone needs it, we should be the wings that help others fly, we should help others carry on in their journey to their destination. Sentinels build other Sentinels, if you are one build another.
