EXPLICIT

EXPLICIT

Felix Frankfurter once said, "ambiguity lurks in generality and may thus become an instrument of severity." Being ambiguous can bring about some unwanted perception of who one is, it can be very disadvantageous, and can cause one to lose credibility in relationships and associations, it is a killer of trust and confidence.

Explicitness is a trait we should work on having and improving, it is one major character of people who know what they want from life and boldly declare and follow after their longings. Without a clear plan, and vision, without an easily understandable presentation of ideas, there is a tilting towards misinterpretation of intended meanings which can lead to something other than what was planned or intended.

As much as there may be a necessity to be ambiguous about some issues, one must be carefully, and wisely determine in what things ambiguity would be employed for maximum productivity and better benefits. Life itself is an ambiguous journey, and according to James Hollis, "learning to live with ambiguity is learning to live with how life really is, full of complexities and strange surprises..."

You can not be a perfect person, in fact, you don't have to be a perfect person, but you must be a wise person, learning to play your games on your terms, but not in ways that will put you out of the game of life. Ambiguous or EXPLICIT be sure it is all to give you the right standing at every point in life. Always play your cards to win, but remember to play fair, after all you will be a beneficiary of whatever you sow.
