OBLIGING

OBLIGING

No human is under any obligations to do anything for anyone, but some humans have the rights and legitimately deserve some care from other humans. Babies have the right to be taken care of by their parents; subordinates have the right to be compensated by the principals. Rights and obligations are two different sides of same coin, one is given and the other received.

Obligations are a self determined phenomenon, no human can be forced to do anything outside his will, if such happens it becomes a violation of rights; our willingness to help others, make others live better lives, and do favours for people is a self imposed obligation borne true humanity and humanness.

It is a right and most importantly an obligation to yourself to be who you should be, and realistically, you cannot be who you should be without being obliged to others. Life can never be lived in isolation, every relationship always come with an obligation, and fulfilling those obligations are part of what makes you who you are, and who you are meant to be.

Never cease in doing good to others, it is not an obligation it is what makes you human. Humans are not meant to be selfish and self centered, but helpful to each other, helping themselves out of difficult situations and circumstances. As John D. Rockefeller said, "Every right implies a responsibility; Every opportunity, an obligation, Every possession, a duty."
