NEWFANGLE
Maintaining the status quo is the easiest thing anyone can ever do, but there is no such thing as "status quo“ things either get better or get worse, and if it does not get better it can not stay the same but get worse, there is no vacuum in nature. If we would get better in whatever we do, we must be intentional about it, otherwise, we would only become worse.
We must be desirous of a better life, we must seek newness, we must be instruments and workers of change and a better world. We must commit to, and be determined to see our world become better than we met it just by little acts of care, and love towards those around us. Big acts of kindness may be good, but the small acts can not be overlooked, it is an accumulation of these little acts that becomes big.
The world is an ever dynamic one, constantly changing and always moving, we must be flexible enough to know when to flow with the tide, and also when to be firm on what we know, have, and want. As much as some trends may be of benefit to us, some are pure waste of resources, we need to apply wisdom in dealing with these situations.
We never know what we are missing until we experience the new, do not be on the side that wants to sit on the fence and maintain status quo, but work towards the better life. Take the risk; embark on the journey; come off your line; leave your comfort zone, nothing enviable ever comes from the comfort zone; think outside the box, that is where solutions abound.
