Standards are your minimum requirements or level of expectation in certain areas of your life and activities you are involved in, they are the principles by which you run your life. Your standards are strictly yours and must be adhered to irrespective of what you do, where you find yourself, and others opinions. Lowering your standard is a compromise of your principles.
We must always strive to maintain our standards, however high it may seem to others; a positive attitude is a key ingredient to weathering the storms, and surviving difficulties, we must always maintain it; we must cultivate and maintain positive and impacting relationships, they help us stay strong when we become weak.
A healthy lifestyle is the ultimate, without good and sound health, nothing can be fully achieved, utilised, or enjoyed. We must keep ourselves healthy at all times to function at our best capacity. Never go below your standards and principles. This does not outrightly suggest that we become rigid when we should be flexible with certain things. Nothing in life is cast in stone, one must be wise in determining what works best for every situation, but in everything MAINTAIN standards.
