366 days of wisdom (July 13, 2020)

Day 195 of wisdom

“No thief, however skillful, can rob one of knowledge, and that is why knowledge is the best and safest treasure to acquire.”

L. Frank Baum

John F. Kennedy once said, “The greater our knowledge increases, the greater our ignorance unfolds.” one who knows nothing, does not know he knows nothing, until he really knows that which he does not know. As Lao Tzu said, “To know that you do not know is best. To think you know when you do not is a disease. Recognizing this disease as a disease is to be free of it.”

Proverbs  18:15 says, “The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.” if you must prove your prudence, you must know, and if you must be seen as a wise man you must seek more knowledge. Knowledge is very important to the growth, development, and success of any man. In the words of Benjamin Franklin, “An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest.” so, if you really want to reap great rewards, and benefit from life, you must seek to increase your knowledge.

There is nothing that is more secure, and safe than what one knows. Knowledge is a treasure that one acquires that can never be taken away no matter what. Chains, and bounds cannot suppress knowledge, neither can it be taken away, knowledge acquired, is knowledge owned forever. Someone once said, “Knowledge is a weapon. I intend to be formidably armed.” if you must fight a successful battle you must be a man of knowledge.

Isaiah  5:13 says, “Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.” no matter your stature, no matter your position, no matter your age, colour, race, or tribe, if you lack knowledge, you will suffer. Knowledge is as important as oxygen, your level of knowledge determines the level of your development, so seek knowledge.
