Day 192 of wisdom
“Great changes may not happen right away, but with effort even the difficult may become easy.”
Bill Blackman
Change is an inevitable thing, everything changes with time, but the only challenge is that, those changes may not be in ones favour, nothing in this world stays unchanged forever, no matter how little, change comes to everything each passing time, it may not be very significant, but it happens. In could either be for good, or bad; negative or positive; increase, or reduction; depreciation, or appreciation.
Some changes are forced, while some are caused. Forced changes are most times those we don't have any form of control over, they happen irrespective of our actions, or inactions, these changes are mostly natural, and cannot be altered except for very exceptional cases which could also be naturally induced. Caused changes are the ones we cause by what we do, or do not do, these changes are based on our decisions, and when we desire favourable changes we must take actions that will directly, or indirectly impact what we hope to change. These change may not be rapid, or instant, but consistence brings the actual change.
If anything must change in our lives we must recognize the necessity for change, we must see the need to turn around our current situation, and begin to take actions towards turning it around, or else nothing changes. "Nothing changes, if nothing changes." Change is often a turnaround in direction, if you do not change the direction of your thoughts, actions, inactions, and deeds, nothing changes.
Albert Einstein once said, "the world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking." If we must see changes in anything we must change our way of thinking, our attitude, and our habits. Great changes doesn't come instantly, it comes gradually, it may be difficult, but with our determination, and doggedness we will eventually see our desired change.
