Take adequate actions

BE DECISIVE

One very crucial attribute of one who wants to make reasonable progress in life is the ability to make timely decisions. The difference between those who merely dream, and those who achieve their dreams, is decisiveness. Sometimes, being decisive is not just about making choices and decisions, it is about owning your path with unyielding conviction, cutting through doubt, and propelling yourself forward when others hesitate.

Marcus Tullius Cicero once said, "More is lost by indecision than wrong decision." This means that, the regret of failing to make a decision is always far greater than the regret of making a poor decision. It is always better to be decisive than to let an opportunity pass you by. It does not help to plan too much towards a project before execution, strike when the opportunity comes, otherwise when it is lost it will never be regained.

Elon Musk did not revolutionize space travel by endlessly analysing risks, and what could go wrong, he decided to launch, iterate, and redefine what is possible. Decisiveness is not born from perfection, it is forged through commitment to your purpose, vision, and destination. When you are decisive, you silence the inner critic, and strengthen your belief in your ability to achieve the results and the outcomes you hope to achieve. If you allow indecision to get a hold of you, it will chain you to the status quo, and only allow you to watch from the sidelines as bolder souls claim their prizes.

Decisiveness is a muscle you can build, start small and grow big on it. Even a wrong decision teaches more than no decision at all. It refines your instincts, builds your resilience, and opens new doors you never saw coming. Where others drown in distraction, the decisive thrive because they create clarity in the midst of chaos. The future belongs to those who seize it, one bold choice at a time.

To a better you, Kamikun John.
