DON'T DITCH YOUR DAYDREAMS
Dreams are not what you experience while sleeping at night, they are not just fleeting thoughts or idle fantasies, they are the sparks of your deepest desires, the blueprint of your potential. Those moments when your mind wanders to what could be, they are not distractions, they are redirections. Don't ditch them, rather, embrace them and make the best use of them.
Life has a way of piling on responsibilities, doubts, and distractions that can bury your dreams under a heap of could haves, and should haves. The world might tell you to be practical, to stick to the safe path, to abandon those wild, colorful visions that light you up inside, but the truth is, your daydreams are your soul's way of showing you the way, and ignoring them is like ignoring a compass in the middle of a storm.
Every great achievement started as a daydream. The Wright brothers imagined flight while others scoffed. J.K. Rowling saw Hogwarts in her mind long before it became a global phenomenon. Your dreams, no matter how big or small, are the seeds of something extraordinary. They are not silly or unrealistic, they are the raw material of your future.
Chasing your daydreams is not easy. It takes courage to step into the unknown, to risk failure, to face skepticism (sometimes even from yourself), but the alternative, letting those dreams fade away into nothing is far worse. Regret is heavier than any setback. So, start small if you must. Write down that idea. Take one tiny step toward it today. Let your daydreams guide you, not define you as a dreamer who never acts. Your daydreams are yours for a reason. They are not random, they are rooted in your passions, your values, your unique spark. Don't let fear, busyness, or naysayers convince you to abandon them. Hold fast to those visions. Nurture them, fight for them, because when you chase your daydreams, you are not just chasing a fantasy, you are building a life for yourself.
To a better you, Kamikun John.
