NEIGHBOR

The beauty of life is not in the accumulation of personal wealth and material belongings, the beauty of life is in the love shared and received, it is in the lives you touch with what you have, the kindness you show to those who can't repay you, the burden you bear for those who are weighed down by the troubles and difficulties of life.

A tree does not make a forest, and no one man can make life interesting on his own. We will have a better world, a more peaceful world, when every single one of us cares about the next person irrespective of who they are at any point in time, wherever we find ourselves. When I am concerned about the welfare of the man next to me, I will be careful what I do to him and anything that belongs to him.

We must seek to be sympathetic when those around us are in trouble, or in a difficult situation, for we do not know when such may come upon us. Like Ronald Reagan once said, "Recession is when a neighbor loses his job. Depression is when you lose yours." when we are faced with the same challenges our neighbors have faced we understand differently, but empathy bridge these gaps.

At home, on the road, at school, at places of work, at religious places, etc whoever is around us is our neighbor, and the moment we understand that the safety and welfare of these people is our own safety, we see them, our environment and everything differently, and we have different understanding about everything. Whoever is capable of causing you harm or vice versa is your NEIGHBOR, love them instead and see the miracle of love.
