Every passing day, people wake up to the reality that life is not fair, and the road to success is not a bed of roses, yet some expect to someday get to the promise land without leaving their comfort zones. Unfortunately, life does not attend to wishes but work. The principles of life are not suspended for any body no matter the circumstances. A farmer who goes to farm, tills the land, and plant seeds need only to pray for the rain and fair weather, when harvest time comes he will surely reap plenty, and will be happy that his efforts had not gone to waste. If he had gone to the farm, sat idly, and prayed for a bounty harvest, he will surely have a bounty harvest but of hunger and penury.

Flip Wilson once said, "You can't expect to hit the jackpot if you don't put a few nickels in the machine." Winning the JACKPOT of success is not by mere wish, it does not even come by prayers, it comes by working hard consistently, and diligently towards it, while expecting that the weather of fairness will favour you and bring to you the desired results.

Failure and disappointment are part of life, without failure success would have no meaning. You have got to fail but turn it around to be called successful, but to succeed, you have got to work. If you keep pushing, if you don't quit, if you rise after every fall, one day you will hit the JACKPOT.
