LOYAL
When the road darkens, when the paths become blurry, when the grasses go dry, who stays by you? Who do you see? Who stands firm to restore you and that which is going awry for you? Loyalty does not say farewell in the rough times, it does not abandon a comrade, brother, or friend in the times when they are needed.
Everyone needs a loyal friend, a loyal brother, a loyal comrade, and a loyal mate; nothing can be traded for the loyalty of men; it supersedes every form of material gifts, and present that one can receive from man. A man who has loyal friends has everything he needs. He needs not bother about what he lacks, as long as he can ascertain the loyalty of his friends.
A family, a group of friends, a society, a nation, and a people is only as strong as their loyalty to each other. Loyalty is the cord that strengthen and bind together any group no matter how large or small. In the words of Elbert Hubbard "If put to the pinch, an ounce of loyalty is worth a pound of cleverness."
No matter what you do, no matter what you have, without the gift of loyal friends, you have nothing. Life cannot be lived on the strength of your possessions, but on the quality of loyalty you get from those around you, and you do not get from someone what you are not ready and willing to give. If you expect loyalty, if you want loyal friends, and family members, be LOYAL.
