ORIGINALITY

In Herman Melville's words, "It is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation." No one has even been the best at an imitation; you cannot be first when you are reproducing, replicating, or imitating what has already been done by someone else, and the best way to be easily forgotten is to subject yourself to being second fiddle when you can be number one.

There is a first place reserved for everyone who is ready to occupy that space, you are created original, for a specific, special, and unique purpose; if you don't live up to the fulfillment of your purpose in life, no one will achieve that purpose for you. There is nothing new under the sun, the only thing that distinguishes you from everyone else, is your originality.

Edith Wharton said, "True originality consists not in a new manner but in a new vision." originality is not much of what is been done, but who is doing it, and how it is done. Products may be identical, your how is your identity, your process is your unique key.

Be creative, be flexible, life is not always about what we want, but what has to be done. We can be all we want to be, we can be the best around in everything we do, but we must be careful not to lose our identity and what we ought to be by wanting to become what we are not made for. Be yourself in all you do, you are a complete package of the best thing that can ever be.
