OPTIMUM
The default human ability is at the medium or mediocre level, but men are not made to be mediocre but to be and perform at optimum level. Mediocrity is an enemy of greatness, and will not allow one attain his best heights and status in life. We all have potentials to go beyond and perform at unimaginable and exceptional levels, but our will to do and become will determine our level of performance.
As humans having the capacity to do more than we are doing, we should make our optimum performance at everything we do to be our minimum expectation. When we set for ourselves such high standards we can outperform them. Like Michelangelo said, "the greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it".
As much as we would want to push ourselves to reach optimum level of performance, we must also be careful of how much we push ourselves, and the pressure we exert on ourselves towards becoming who and what we want to be.
We are powerful beyond measure, we have more than enough within us to become the best of ourselves, we only need to dig deep within us to explore that which we already possess to achieve what we desire. It is what we can do that we do not do that hurts us the most, and brings to us the most displeasure. Go beyond the norm, reach for your OPTIMUM, break limits.
