DESTINY

DESTINY

The concept of a predetermined outcome for what someone would become is one that can be discussed at length and in depth without reaching an agreeable conclusion. Will (desire, wish) and choices would be unnecessary and needless if destiny is fixed and unchangeable. William Shakespeare once said, "It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves".

Your destiny is in your hands, you can mould it, fashion it, and weave it however you want. Destinies can however be desirable or undesirable. Unfortunately destinies are unknown until you get it, but what you do, and the steps you take towards what you want eventually determines what you get.

Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be". If you do not determine who you want to be, you would become anything you do not want to be. People have become great, achieved enviable feats, and turned a terrible and undesirable life around into a great and inspiring one, because they became decisive about what they want.

Whatever you choose and whatever you work towards is your destiny. If destiny was fixed, you would not need to work to achieve what you have been predestined to be, you would have been what you are meant to be irrespective of what you do, but life respects the principles of nature, the only true destiny is reaping what you have sown. Sow the the seed of a desirable DESTINY.
