Keep the fire burning

CELEBRATE EVERY WIN

Life is not a straight shot to the top, it is a zigzag of ridges, plateaus, and it comes with occasional tumble. However, these challenges are not meant to be hinderances to our success, but catalysts to make us get to them as better persons. When we celebrate every win, no matter how small, we open the door to bigger wins and higher levels of victory and accomplishments. Your first win, is always a step to the next, and so on.

Wins compound like interest in a savings account, the more you fund them and celebrate the funding, the more it grows; but when you forget to celebrate, you begin to give doubt a chance, you begin to soften the ground for fear to take root, and grow up in your space; you begin to see your weaknesses, your faults, your shortcomings, and you begin to feel less of a champion when you are actually a big one.

In a football match, every goal is celebrated, not just the final result. When you celebrate a goal, you are encouraged and motivated to push for more, and the more you win the better you become. Every trophy won however big or small, has to be celebrated, and the more you celebrate, the more trophies you want to win. The most successful people in the world do not just celebrate their big breakthrough, they celebrate every win, they celebrate every new level, and every new achievement they achieve.

Make celebration a non-negotiable phenomenon in your life. Create patterns and routines that help you celebrate, and get you in the right mood for the next challenge. You don't climb a mountain from the top, you climb to the top from the base. You don't have to get it big before you start to celebrate, whatever you have gotten is worth celebrating, so celebrate and keep pushing, keep climbing, keep cheering, and keep winning. The journey may be tough, but celebration keeps you in the right frame of mind to keep beating your challenges. You are unstoppable, don't stop yourself, keep celebrating.

To a better you, Kamikun John.
