CHEER

CHEER

Being frisky, zestful, and lively can sometimes be a very difficult task especially in a time when things are not going smoothly for us or those who we want to cheer, it takes a lot of courage, strength, and wisdom to perform such task and in an harmless way, but many a times we must make effort to do these things just to ease ourselves or people of these pressures.

We may not always have reasons to be happy but we must always find reasons to be cheerful. Being cheerful is wanting to be happy in spite of the unhappy situations around us, and this is a true show of strength and character. A cheerful mind dwells in an healthy heart and body, but a mind that would refuse cheerfulness would suffer from bad health.

Elizabeth Ann Seton once said, "cheerfulness prepares a glorious mind for all the noblest acts". A man that spreads cheer will never be found in acts that are not noble, promote peace, make life easier for another man, or make another man smile, he cannot be associated with destructive and human demeaning actions, he is purely a man for the good, better, and best.

In ensuring that we remain cheerful, and bright, we must not forget that it is also upon us to lighten life's heavy weight on those around us who would need some cheers, as Louisa May Alcott said, "cheerfulness can change misfortune into love and friend". It may not come easy to be cheerful, but it will surely be rewarding, productive, and life saving to CHEER up ourselves and others at every time and in every situation.
