SUCCESS DOES NOT COME OVERNIGHT
Success is a marathon, not a sprint. Sometimes, you look at those who have made it, those who have run their race and have won, and we think they suddenly struck gold overnight. The truth is, their victories were built on struggles, countless unseen hours of grit, failure, and persistence. Every step forward is carved from late nights, early mornings, and moments of doubt transformed into faith, and determination.
You cannot separate the years of grinding through setbacks, refining skills, pushing past rejections, and rising after every fall from any successful individual. They never achieved anything in a day, or overnight. It takes them years and decades of continuous commitment to failure, and a relentless pursuit of solutions to reach the level where they are celebrated, to reach the height where people look up to them for inspiration.
The world celebrates the finish line, they celebrate the end product, but the truth is, success is in the process. It is showing up when no one is watching, learning from mistakes, and staying disciplined when the results are not immediate; it is failing but not quitting. If you keep rising, keep building, and keep moving, each small win stacks up, like bricks in a foundation, until one day you look back and realize how far you have come.
Nothing happens suddenly, whatever comes easy will surely go easy. Don't chase fast success, instant glory, quick fix approach. Embrace the slow but progressive process. Keep planting seeds, even when the harvest feels distant. Success does not come overnight, it is earned through patience, built through resilience, and established on unwavering commitment to the long term endeavours. Keep going, you are building something real, solid, and lasting.
To a better you, Kamikun John.
