DON'T BE A SPECTATOR
In the game of life, there will always be people watching what is happening on the field from the sidelines; they are the spectators; they are only there to cheer, shout, and criticise. Some will be excited, others disappointed by the outcome of the happenings, they do not have any effect, or impact on the outcomes. When the winners hang medals around their necks, they can only watch; when the losers are learning, and becoming better, they can only observe.
Life is not meant to be watched from the sidelines. We are not supposed to just sit and allow everyone and everything to keep running past us without having an impact. We are not meant to be mere Observers , rather we should be Actors, creating our desires, and playing out the life we want. We have to be engaging, instead of waiting for the right moment for us to act.
Greatness is not found in the stands, it is forged on the field; legends are not raised on the sidelines, they are crafted right in the center of the action; legacies are not built looking at others make things happen, they are established by creating impacts. Spectators have no power, they merely see how things are happening to others, but the Actors determine their own destiny, and build their life.
Life rewards action, begin to take actions, take the first step, and move forward. Instead of waiting for permission or perfect conditions, take the first step. Spectators analyse, participants experiment. You will learn more from trying and failing than from endless preparation. The world does not need more spectators, it needs doers, creators, and relentless pursuers of progress. Stop letting fear dictate your path. Step into the arena, take the shot, and make your life one worth remembering.
To a better you, Kamikun John.
