NOTHING CHANGES UNTIL YOU CHANGE IT
"Change is the only constant thing in life" is a cliché statement when the topic of change is being discussed; but we forget that as much as change is constant, except you take intentional actions, change will not be progressive nor favourable. We spend so much of our lives waiting for the right moment, for luck to strike, for circumstances to shift in our favor. We hope that time alone will bring the change we desire, that some external force will step in and rewrite our story. The truth is simple "nothing changes until you change it."
The kind of job you want will not fall into your laps sitting in your room, you must go out, search for it, and do what it takes to get it. The negative habits and thoughts holding you back will not disappear on their own, you must be intentional about working on yourself, and turning that habit around, and those thoughts into positive ones. Change is not a passive event, it is a deliberate act. It begins with a decision, a refusal to stay where you are, a commitment to move forward even when fear whispers that you stand still.
The greatest transformations in history did not happen by accident. They were sparked by individuals who refused to accept stagnation, who took responsibility for their circumstances and acted. The same power lies within you. If you want a different life, you must become a different person, one who makes difficult choices, who faces discomfort, who dares to take a step even when it is difficult.
If you want to change your life, you must refuse to be passive, you have to stop waiting for permission to move forward or take action; you have to stop blaming the world for where you are. The moment you realise that you are the catalyst to your own progress and eventual success, everything shifts. The future is not something that happens to you, it is something you prepare for; something you build, one bold step at a time. If you don't change your life, no one will do it for you.
To a better you, Kamikun John.
