YOU ARE NOT THE PROBLEM
In a world that often feels like it is spinning too fast, where expectations pile up and self-doubt creeps in too easily, it is easy to accept the idea that you are the problem. That if you were smarter, stronger, faster, or better, things would fall into place. But the truth is, you are not the problem. The weight of the world is not yours to carry alone. The systems, circumstances, and sometimes even the people around you can create challenges that feel insurmountable. But these challenges do not define your worth. They are not a reflection of your inadequacy. They are simply part of the complex, messy, and often unfair reality of life.
Society often tells us to fix ourselves, to be more productive, more confident, more this, more that, but you have always tried your best, put in your best effort, yet to see the desired results. What if you are not the problem? What if the problem is the unrealistic standards, the lack of support, or the toxic environments that demand more than anyone could reasonably give? What if the problem is the noise telling you that you are not enough, when in fact, you are more than enough?
You are not the problem when you struggle. You are not the problem when you fail. You are not the problem when you need help. These are not flaw, they are human experiences. They are part of growth, learning, and living. The real problem lies in the narratives that shame you for being human, for having limits, for needing time and space to heal and grow.
Let go of the idea that you need to be perfect to deserve love, respect, or success. Let go of the belief that your struggles are a sign of weakness. Let go of the notion that you are the problem. Because you are not. You are a work in progress, just like everyone else. You are learning, evolving, and doing the best you can with what you have, and that is enough. The problem is not you, it is the pressure to be anything other than who you are. So, be you, you are fantastic, just as you are.
To a better you, Kamikun John.
