SELF-ESTEEM:
A Persons overall
subjective emotional evaluation of his or her own self, a judgment of yourself
as well as the attitude you put up towards yourself and other people. There
exists two sides to self-esteem, the positive and negative sides. As good as
self-esteem may be its negativity can be damning, demoralizing and self-destructive.
Positive self-esteem is therefore a very important ingredient for successful
people. Positive self-esteem is about building a mental picture of who you want
to be and start acting in that manner, you must comport yourself in an honorable
way depicting who you want to be and how you want to live your life, your
speaking, dressing and way of life should be tailored towards that big picture
of yourself in the future. You must thereby be ethical in the application of
self-esteem, as the bible says "pride goes before destruction"
self-esteem must not be mixed with pride.

Happiness
is found when a person stop comparing himself or herself to other people, you must also make sure you
don't see yourself through the eyes of those who don't value you, you must know
your worth even if they don't. Having a positive self-esteem will enable you to
take up the challenges of facing difficult tasks and completing them, even when
you fail at difficult tasks ,you should recall that failure is an event not a
person and a person is a failure only when he or she stops trying.
Remember:
"When
people believe in themselves they have the first secret of success". ~Norman
Vincent Peale.
"You
gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really
stop to look fear in the face". ~Eleanor Roosevelt.
May the
goodness of the universe never elude us, Amen.
